As you are both know, the application period of Korean government scholarship program (KGSP) is March-April every year and the successful candidates will get admission at the end of August each year (enrolled to Fall/Autumn semester).
Occasionally, Professor Jae Hyung Park (Professor of School of Chemical Engineering, Adjunct Professor in Dept. of Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology (SAIHST), Adjunct Professor of Dept. of Global Biomedical Engineering, SKKU), and currently is Principle Investigator (PI) của Biomacromolecular Research Laboratory (BMR Lab.) very pleasure to guide and facilitate in research for graduate students who plan to apply for KGSP 2018 and 2019 (This means Professor Park will be advisor of the students, and his name should be addressed as recommended university professor in candidate’s application form).

The applicants major in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Eng., Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemistry (organic chemistry, polymer chemistry), Bioengineering & Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Material Engineering (Polymeric materials, biomaterials,…) and related fields should be suitable for our lab’s research.
+ Cumulative GPA >= 3.2/4.0 (or >=8.0/10 or equivalent grade in other grading scale)
+ English proficiency requirement: Applicant must satisfy one of these conditions below:
(1) Applicant who have official English test result that is valid at the time of submission (within 2 years): TOEFL (PBT) 569, TOEFL (CBT) 230, TOEFL (iBT) 91, TOEIC > 850 (4-skills TOEIC should be more preferable), TEPS 700, G-TELP level 2 76, IELTS 6.0 or above.
(2) Applicants who submit proof of documents for one of the conditions below:
+ Applicants who are native English speakers
+ Applicants who have completed their higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s program) in English or in English education country.
+ Applicants should acquire scientific publications in domestic/international journals (SCI, SCIE, ISI,…) (compulsive requirement for applicants who apply for PhD program)
+ If applicants do not possess any publication, the scientific honors/awards, paper/poster/oral presentation in scientific (international) symposiums/conferences, attendance certificate in scientific conference/summer camp/abroad exchanging period (as a reward),… should be referred. (compulsive requirement for applicants who apply for Master program)
